Well, I made it to Hue last night and had dinner with Khanh. We reviewed plans and details for the upcoming days involving pig and duck deliveries. Tomorrow (Sunday) we'll visit the people who will be the recipients, which will streamline Monday's delivery process. A visit to the boat people will cap off the day. My hotel is near the Citadel and Forbidden City.
Since my ability to access this blog from my computer has suddenly evaporated, it is now necessary to use a computer at Hearts for Hue. So, this "block" is obviously specific to my computer. It irritates the crap out of me that I come to Vietnam to help the people and am handicapped by having access to my blog blocked.
OK, now to walk around and absorb the atmosphere of the neighborhood, which is a mixture of houses and small businesses. I recall a nearby little restaurant owned by a deaf mute, who is quite a colorful character.
I'll be back after tomorrow's busy day.
